Job Description

As a Financial Controller, you will have the following missions:

• Supervise and coordinate the company’s accounting and financial activities.
• Develop, implement and maintain robust accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Carry out in-depth financial analyses to identify trends, variances and opportunities for improving financial performance.
• Oversee the budgeting and forecasting process in collaboration with the company’s various stakeholders.
• Manage internal and external audits, as well as relations with auditors.
• Provide financial support and advice to operational departments to optimize resource allocation and improve profitability.
• Actively participate in strategic planning initiatives and contribute to the development of financial action plans aligned with corporate objectives.
• Coach and develop a high-performing accounting team, providing guidance, training and regular performance reviews.

Requirements

• BAC+ 5 in finance or accounting
• At least 5 years’ professional experience in the financial services sector
• Solid experience in fund management, accounting and taxation
• Proven analytical skills
• Rigorous, autonomous and proactive

Additional information

• Mastery of the French and English language is essential.
• The position is based in Luxembourg.
